Book Review: The Lunar Cronicles

Don't you love when you have a friend who if they recommend it you pretty much know you're going to like it? Sam is that friend for me. If she likes it, I will too. She recommended this series and I think I reviewed one or two of them, but then I was too busy reading--and writing/editing to take the time to write a review for the others. So, I'm doing them all together. :) Cinder, Scarlet, Winter, Fairest--though, you should read fairest before Winter. :)

This was a series that upon reading a little about them I thought... yeah, I don't know about this... and then it's amazing. Seriously Marissa Meyer is one smart cookie and a heck of a writer. I loved everyone of them! Who knew space and cyborgs and your not so average fairy taleish characters could be so fantastic?

The only reason these books get 4 clean stars is because it gets a little violent, but nothing horrendous--I'd let all my children read them, if that's helpful. :)
