Have you ever sat down and thought about what you could accomplish in 5 minutes?
I think it's more than we realize. It was more than I realized.
I don't know how many times I've had 5 minutes before it was time to walk out the door and I looked around my house listing off the things that needed done... things I didn't want to start without being able to finish.
Then one day I timed myself, doing one of the chores I loath, unloading the dishwasher... why do I loath it you ask. No reason, I really am grateful I don't have to hand wash all those dishes, but still, I really dislike that job.
So, I timed myself one day.
It took me 6 minutes. 6. Six. VI.
Yeah, how lame did I feel? Six minutes of my life and then the sink doesn't get filled with messy, stinky dishes making my kitchen look like crap. Six. That's it.
So, a while back (if I'm being honest I need to get it out again) I made a huge list of chores that took 10 minutes or less. Then when I had only 5 minutes I'd bust out one of my mini jobs and feel so wholly accomplished. :)
