"Have your feet hit the floor yet?"

Holy news Batman.
Well at least it's exciting news for me!
I am still somewhat in shock I think....
"Have your feet hit the floor yet?" Is what publisher Jo Wilkins asked me during our 3rd discussion about her company PUBLISHING MY BOOK.
Holy news Batman.
I mentioned Jo a few posts ago. She was at the writers conference I went to in April. Her phone call was a huge surprise for me--I hadn't heard from her or the company in months. She'd had surgery and it had taken her longer than expected to get in touch with me. And then she used the words--in love-- with your book. I almost peed my pants. It's a good thing I was happy dancing in the bathroom as we spoke.
Publishing a book is a process--I am learning!  It won't be out in a couple months. Somewhere a year or so from now you'll be able to purchase my novel.
Crazy.
Happy.
Amazing.
So blessed.
